Yes, it’s a real pain when they fit strings at some factories and have each string overlap the next so you can’t just change one at a time..it’s all or nothing. Really though, if you are going to change one string, you should change them all anyway. Your D probably looks different because when they are factory fitted, they put the very end of the string on the tuner and use machines to wind it round and round…..that’s just a waste of time. Life’s too short to bother!

i know this sounds silly but when i changed my D nylon string near the tuner peg it looked different than before but it still plays like before does that matter?

yea what do i do when im removing the strings from the bridge? like the bottom of the bridge the strings on my guitar are like intertwined
