Todos tienen algo de razón. Sólo les puedo decir que de todas las Chaconas que he escuchado (Bream, Williams,Barrueco, Parkening, etc) y aunque actualmente no sea correcto tocarla como Segovia, la versión de este viejo arrogante es la que me perece más hermosa y es tal vez la única que verdaderamente me conmueve.

No creo que fueran a desaparecer porque el Marqués de Salobreña no acudiera a su rescate. En realidad, como andaluz desaborío encontró su entorno ideal en la música clásica. Reinventó la manera de tocar a su conveniencia (es decir desacreditando el ritmo que era su punto débil) y luego impuso ese estilo en el mundo clásico. Un comportamiento más propio del mundo académico que del artístico. Creo una legión de guitarristas mediocres como él.

One of the most interesting things, is that he only tought only how to play like him, but not how to understand the piece, and make it their own (student’s), there was less room for a personality, maybe cause Segovia was THE guitarrist in that time…

Aunque te apoyo, y yo como guitarrista he tratado de no seguir el Segoviazo durante mi vida musical, pienso que exageras y metes ciertos aspectos que en nada interesan a la música y mucho menos a la guitarra clásica!
Su tecnica, actualmente, ya es pesima y anticuada, ademas de riducula, pero no podemos olvidar que a Segovia no debemos agradecerle su tecnica ni su caracter, sino las muchas obras que rescató, incluyendo esta, al repertorio de la guitarra clásica!

A lo largo de todo este tiempo Segovia ha conseguido engañar a mucha gente, y muerto, aún lo sigue haciendo, gracias al colaboracionismo de muchos. Ver esta payasada es instructivo. Este “maestro” apenas fue un tipejo de caracter fascista, y un ejemplo de lo que no debemos ser como seres humanos y mucho menos como músicos. i thought she played fine,.except for a few wrong notes.,and some passages were a little too fast,.segovia just loves interrupting!! only a computer can play the exact same way that he did!!
